PHOENIX, AZ (June 28, 2017) – The Arizona Association of Defense Counsel’s Young Lawyers Division has elected Jones, Skelton & Hochuli attorney John M. Gregory as the 2017/2018 Executive Board President. Mr. Gregory previously served as Vice President and Treasurer for the Young Lawyers Division. “I am thrilled to lead the Young Lawyers Division in the coming term. Our Board prides itself on offering exceptional professional development opportunities to its members, and we look forward to expanding those opportunities in the coming year. From offering new networking opportunities to improving engagement within our existing professional networks, the YLD has lofty goals. We will continue providing members with CLE’s relevant to their practice and giving back to our community with our charitable softball tournament, which raised more than $10,000 for last year. It’s exciting to be on a Board with great leadership during such an important, transitional time for our profession,” Mr. Gregory said.

The Arizona Association of Defense Counsel (AADC) is an organization comprising defense attorneys who practice in the area of civil defense litigation. The AADC is dedicated to the education of its members, the judiciary and increasing community awareness of positive aspects of the legal profession.

Mr. Gregory focuses his practice in the areas of construction defect, dram shop and social host liability, and general civil defense litigation. He earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and his M.P.S in Journalism from Georgetown University. While in law school, Mr. Gregory was a member of the Business Law Society, treasurer of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and editor-in-chief of the Arizona Journal of Environmental Law & Policy.
